Emergency standby backup power for 455 Eye Street Apartments in Washington, D.C.

455 Eye Street Apartments is a thoughtful blend of history and modern luxury in DC's Mount Vernon Triangle. The building's design is a translation of its industrial aesthetic, traced throughout the building to establish a meaningful relationship between old and new. The existing historic warehouse, autoworks building and two townhomes have been preserved and are complemented by sleek residential towers accented with glass and brick. 174 unique homes are situated around a contemporary courtyard, flanked by original exposed brick facade and lush foliage.

Curtis Engine supplied and JE Richards installed a 450 kW diesel powered backup generator and related transfer switches for the 11-story, 174-unit apartment building in Washington, D.C.
